Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement
The Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) has now entered into force. This landmark trade deal will enhance export opportunities and deliver significant benefits for both countries, opening up a new era in the economic relationship.
Under the agreement all Indonesian goods will enter Australia tariff free, and most Australian goods will face lower tariffs in Indonesia. IA-CEPA also provides new opportunities for Australian investors in Indonesia and will promote greater people-to-people links and skills development.
